Peatbog Faeries

PEATBOG FAERIES

Hailing from the Isle of Skye, members of Peatbog Faeries have been playing together since childhood but the band officially began in 1994. They soon became a bit of a Scottish institution thanks to their uncanny ability to work a crowd into a dancing frenzy, and this party spirit has won them fans at festivals all over the world.

As well as their usual habit of beefing up the bagpipes and fiddles with synths, big basslines and rock drumming, for their fourth and most recent album, Croftwork, they have further expanded the Peatbog sound with the addition of a brass section.

This performance was recorded at The Arches.
