Crooked Still
CROOKED STILL

A Boston quartet who inject a healthy dose of youthful exuberance into Appalachian bluegrass music, Crooked Still back Aoife O'Donovan's soaring vocals with an unlikely but effective combination of banjo, cello and double bass. Despite the absence of a drummer, the performers project a powerful upbeat energy that is distinctly rock and roll.

Crooked Still released their debut album, Hop High, in 2005. This performance was recorded at The Arches Theatre in Glasgow.
