Alice in SunderlandBryan Talbot (born 1952)Bryan Talbot is the godfather of underground British comics, and the British graphic novel/fat comic, having written one of the first with The Adventures of Luther Arkwright in 1978. He worked on several stories in 2000AD, including Judge Dredd, before moving on to titles including Hellblazer and Sandman for DC Comics. In 2007 he released the critically acclaimed Alice in Sunderland for Jonathan Cape. See a detail from this page.
