The Situation Room
THE SITUATION ROOM: AMERICA IN CRISIS
Monday 12 May 2003 10.35pm-12.05am

The events in The Situation Room are fictional. The possible dangers it presents are not.

It's 2004 and India and Pakistan are at war, both with missiles ready and aimed. The American president and his top advisors must diffuse the situation.

Filmed in Washington DC, The Situation Room gathers military experts, strategists and diplomats from the Reagan, Clinton and Bush Sr administrations to form a response to the stand-off.

"It is a highly plausible situation," says producer Susan O'Keeffe. "After Iraq, India and Pakistan are the two countries where instability is most expected."

Find out who's who in the fictional administration and download their background briefing.
