The Routemaster is a fantastic piece of engineering and such fun to have. I took lessons for my PCV driving test so I'm now a fully qualified coach driver!
I love driving it. You're king of the road. If you're driving a vehicle with potentially 72 passengers you've got to drive it well and carefully and that's a responsible feeling.
On occasions people have tried to hop on and hop off so we always have somebody positioned on the platform to tell them they'll have to wait for the next bus.
We are hoping to have it out on the last night of the 159 route so I will be driving around the streets of London on that evening.
