Phil Jupitus, Jo Caulfield, Marcus Brigstocke and two members of Mr Hudson and The Library
  MUSIC HALL MELTDOWN
Friday 6 July 2007 10.30pm-midnight

Ladies and Gentlemen... as part of BBC Four's season The Edwardians, some of today's most acclaimed comedy and music stars gathered in the gilt splendour of Clapham's Grand Theatre to present a night of modern entertainment in an Edwardian music hall setting.

Acts included Harry Enfield, with his version of Lily Allen's LDN, Phill Jupitus and Marcus Brigstocke performing a music hall scene from Hitchcock's 39 Steps, the inimitable Bruce Airhead, comedy from Jeremy Lion, the producer of Music Hall Meltdown David Tyler, cheeky banter from Jo Caulfield and musical mayhem from Madness.

Also on the bill were the magical Stuart & Barry, the madcap sketch troupe We Are Klang, the singing Puppini Sisters and the melodic Mr Hudson and the Library, as well as laughter-makers Frankie Boyle, Steve Delaney, Justin Edwards, and Milton Jones.
