Leni Riefenstahl didn't give many interviews, preferring to let her work speak for itself. But she was lured in front of the camera by Ray Müller.

The contest between interviewer and subject makes for a remarkable and revealing film - it's an object-lesson in how to remain fascinated by your subject while profoundly disliking her.

Riefenstahl never apologised for her Nazi work. Is it really as good as aesthetes appear to think? Watch this film and decide for yourself. My own view is no.
