Was there ever such a thing as Cool Britannia? John Dower's film takes an ironic look at both the hype and the talent behind the concept.

It links bands like Oasis and Blur with the rise of clubbing and style magazines. As befits a film about style, it looks very good, and contains interviews with many of the figures who defined the era.

Catch the Gallagher brothers talking about the question of Tony Blair's capabilities in the rock music department.
