Toby Young and Julie Burchill meeting for the first time in 10 years
WHEN TOBY MET JULIE: THE STORY OF THE MODERN REVIEW
BBC Two: Wednesday 28 June 2006 11.20pm-12.20am

In 1991 Julie Burchill launched a magazine with her husband, Cosmo Landesman and her best friend, Toby Young.

The Modern Review set out to write intelligently about popular culture, treating Schwarzenegger as seriously as Shakespeare. But after only 21 issues, it was dead. This is the story of its rise and fall by the people who gave birth to it and buried it.
