The results of the Black Flash vote show that Henrik Larsson is the greatest black footballer to have played in the British league. BBC Four received a total of 21,693 votes over the week. In second and third place are John Barnes and Ian Wright

  • The Swedish striker's goalscoring record for Scottish giants Celtic has been nothing short of phenomenal.
  • Larsson moved to Glasgow from Feyenoord in July 1997 for a fee of £650,000 that now looks to be one of the best bargains of all time.
  • He has scored over 200 goals in just five seasons, including a remarkable 53 goals in the 2000-2001 season as Celtic completed the domestic treble.
  • Before retiring from international football Larsson earned 72 caps and scored 24 goals for his country.
