Meet Larry David and the actors who play his beleaguered wife and manager in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Larry David
Larry David co-created Seinfed (with Jerry Seinfeld), the cult sitcom famously banished to the hinterland of BBC Two's late-night schedules. Said Seinfeld writer Peter Mehlman of David: "Larry is very in tune with his own deepest, darkest, most embarrassing thoughts - and he's utterly unabashed about sharing them."
In 1999 David wrote and starred in Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm, a one-hour special for HBO which spawned the critically acclaimed series the following year.
In 2003 Curb Your Enthusiasm won Golden Globe award for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy.
Cheryl Hines
As a member of The Groundlings Theater, Cheryl has spent much of the last two years writing and performing sketch and improvisational comedy. This experience makes her feel very at home with the improvised dialogue format of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Cheryl's numerous television roles have included appearances on shows such as Friends and Suddenly Susan.
Although many fans have revered Cheryl's dramatic performances in Unsolved Mysteries and Swamp Thing, Cheryl modestly dismisses these roles as "crap".
Jeff Garlin
Comedian Jeff Garlin has a style of comedy that has much in common with the comedians of the 60s and early-70s Garlin tells stories, exploring his personal foibles and exposing his innermost secrets for all to hear.
He has directed a TV special for Denis Leary and appears in the Steven Soderbergh film Full Frontal which stars Julia Roberts and David Duchovny.
His variety of other TV and film appearances as an actor and a stand-up include Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Bounce and The Late Show with David Letterman.
Jeff's hobbies include eating pudding and taking naps.
