Albert Speer
German architect
Hitler's chief architect from 1933 to 1945, Albert Speer was later appointed minister for armaments and war production 1942-45. After the war he was tried at Nuremberg and served a 20 year sentence at Spandau prison in West Berlin. He went on to write several books.
