Bede Griffiths
English Benedictine monk

Regarded as a guru as well as being a Benedictine monk, Bede Griffiths left Prinknash Abbey and set up an ashram in India with the goal to "set the orthodox tradition of the Christian faith alongside the orthodox tradition of Vedanta and to see how they can mutually enrich one another."
