Epitomising the term multi-talented, Ajay is all that; singer, song-writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist!

Despite a career in the music industry, beginning at the age of 14, London lad, Ajay has only recently launched his solo singer/song-writer career.

Ajay writes his own music, which is set to funky beats and hypnotic melodies. He describes his musical style as a hybrid of "every note I ever heard, fused into the sound of a three minute single" and lists his main inspiration as The Beatles.

Since 1998, Ajay has been the writer, producer and guitar player for the highly successful international band Sister India. He has also engineered and produced for the Acid Jazz label and conceptualised and compiled the first Swaraj series compilation album.

Ajay has worked alongside artists such as Jamiroquai , Brand New Heavies, Gregory Isaacs and even the king of Bollywood himself Shah Rukh Khan.

Ajay has toured all over the world, as well as at WOMAD, Reading Festival and in Regents Park as part of the Queen's Jubilee celebrations.

The first British Asian artist to be signed by Sa Re Ga Ma Records, Ajay is already being hailed as one of the most promising new talents on the block.
