Have your say

At Saffron Rays, Dr. Masud talks to Mary about the old days as they enjoy lunch. The restaurant’s closed, but Pradeep has reluctantly accommodated them. He’s keen to hear Dr. Masud’s suggestion for renaming the restaurant. As they discuss this in the kitchen, Kamla shocks everyone by mentioning that Jungli has Bibi’s blessing to marry a white girl. They’ve been together for years apparently! Mary’s surprised as she remembers the reception Maxine got from Bibi at the quiz weekend in Reading. Kamla shares all the gossip about Jungli and Maxine having children. It seems that Bibi is pretending she knew all along. Suddenly, Pradeep storms out of the kitchen. To say he’s disappointed by Dr. Masud’s new name suggestion would be an understatement. Pradeep can’t believe he let everyone hang around all day just to hear it. He even made ludoos!

As Imran and Rozena eat lunch together in his office, Imran struggles to ignore his phone. Things are so busy without Nadia. Rozena offers to help out, but Imran suggests she has her hands full already. Rozena admits she feels like a zombie, and Imran admits he didn’t realise how stressed out she has been. As they talk, Imran can tell that Roz isn’t happy, but she doesn’t seem to know what she wants. Imran suggests Rozena finds a project to keep her busy. She’s a Jilani after all, work’s in her blood. This gives Rozena an inspired idea…
