Rozena HussainiRozena Hussaini
Played by Pooja Ghai

DOB: 25th April 1973
FAMILY : Husband - Sameer; Father - Mushtaq; Mother - Zenab; Brother - Imran
LIVES: In a canalside apartment with husband Sameer
WORK: Rozena gave up her job as a solicitor to work in her father's property development business. Since Mushtaq passsed away,  she wants to get involved more in Silverhill Rangers
CHARACTER: Ruthless, ambitious, and independent, Rozena is a bit of a snob, and can sometimes come across as intimidating and cold. She takes care of her appearance, and is perfectly capable of looking after herself, Sameer would like to look after her but she doesn't often give him the chance
STAR SIGN : Taurus

"I was always playing "piggy in the middle" - acting as the go-between between Imran and Dad. Imran never approved of Dad's business practices and banging on about the community. Dad was nowhere near as ruthless as Imran though. He's always had our best interests at heart, even if it didn't come out the wrong way sometimes.

"I suppose in many ways I'm much more like Dad than Imran is - for a start he isn't so ambitious. I know that I can now take the businesses to a new level. You need to think big but Dad didn't really see things beyond the local area and he thought business was a man's thing, bless him. I was worried Dad might have had another heart attack when he found out about what Imran did all those years ago but he really came through for us. I'm glad all that Mickey Renolds business came out in the open but it's still hard coming to terms with everyone knowing what happened to me after hiding it for so many years."

"Mind you, if dad had ever found out I was behind the Trucon deal he would never have trusted me again. I also had doubts about marriage but I'm so glad I married Sameer in the end.  Losing baby Adam really brought us closer together. I wish it hadn't taken a tragedy like that to make us see sense."
