 Jai
"It brought back a few memories walking round Silver Street again I can tell you - revisiting some of the old haunts. The things we used to get up to at the Centre, me and that A.D. Davis. We livened the place up a bit that's for sure.... Meeting Siobhan Brady again was a blast from the past. And she had a shock and a half for me when she announced to the world that I was Sean's father! I can't believe I never sussed it before... I should have seen the resemblance.
"It's still the same old Silver Street though , nothing much changes. I mean, I'm sure it's good enough for someone like Rita - her horizons have always been a bit "limited", shall we say - but I always wanted something bigger. Always wanted to see the world. Coming home is alright for a bit but I couldn't stick it forever, even if I do get five star treatment from Ba! You should see Rita's face sometimes...it really winds her up the way Ba hangs on my every word. You'd have thought she'd have got over it by now.
"Nah, Rita might be happy stuck around here but I need some excitement in my life! Man I could tell you some stories - the things I've seen in my time. Women dancing on tables in Rio, Casinos in Las Vegas , all-night beach parties in Bali , the lot. A bit of class that's what I like - in a woman too. And I always get what I want...
"It always pays to show your face once in a while though to keep in with the folks. You never know when they might come in useful. I thought I'd burned my bridges when I took Ba's money and abandoned her but she forgave me again like she always does. Can't show my face again though unless I fancy a long stretch. The Police are after me for money laundering at the gym and the guys I owe big money to aren't exactly forgiving! And now I've got Suresh to worry about as well, my own brother threatening to shop me if I go near Sean... well nothing's gonna keep me from my son if I want to see him."
