CHARACTER: Imran has come a long way since his days of running the Parkside centre. He has returned from his travels having finally laid his ghosts to rest. Going on trial and being found not guilty for killing Mickey Reynolds has given him fresh hope for the future. Imran recently returned from his world travels with another secret although this one turned out to be good. He has a 10 year old son called Luca and Mushtaq got to see his grandchild before he died. Sister Rozena is not so impressed by this new responsible family-orientated Imran though and is determined to make life hard for him....

"I was a big disappointment to Dad, he didn't see my work at Parkside as a 'proper job' and Rozena was the golden girl when it came to business. Things have changed now though. Travelling helped me put things in perspective. Rozena and I kept a dark secret to ourselves for fifteen years and now it's all out in the open I feel like my life can start again. I'm back in Silverhill, running Dad's businesses and Rozena is going to have to take a back seat! I just wish dad was still here to see it. All my life I have never been the son he wanted me to be and I just wanted him to be around for long enough to see that.

I'm glad dad got to meet Luca before he died. My little boy is going to make me proud some day despite Rozena's stupid idea that Isabel and Luca are only around to get their hands on the family money. Some day I am going to prove to her that she is wrong! Yeah....some day. For now I am quite happy to have nothing personal to do with her. Dad's will might be forcing us to work together but that is it as far as I am concerned.
