When I first heard about the tragic loss of Parveen, I was ever so shocked and saddened, as I enjoyed viewing her films when I was growing up. I thought she was a fabulous and attractive actress. Who unfortunately passed away at a young age, with nobody by her side to assist and rescue her. But god bless Parveen, for all her hard work and commitment in the acting industry. She provided great entertainment for many viewers in the 70s and 80s. I am deeply sorry that she has passed away. I'll still be viewing her films. My memories of watching Hindi movies as a child mainly include that of Parveen Babi. The most gorgeous and intriguing personality and movie star ever to grace Indian movie industry. She was o far ahead of her time not only in the way she lived her life but also in the movie roles she picked and performed in. For me she brought a huge & added entertainment value to otherwise typical Hindi movies. I was dismayed even as child when I learnt she suddenly "disappeared" in the early eighties. That was a great loss to the industry. It is all too sad that she had no one close in her life who could reach out to her in time of her need and as a result she, unfairly and through no fault of her own, had to live a lonely, miserable life on her own. My dear Parveen, I will miss you for eternity and beyond and may your beautiful soul rest most peacefully in heaven. The peace that you were denied in this harsh world.
