I heard an obituary of Amrish Puri on Brief Lives on Radio5Live this morning (23/01/2005) as well as to Parveen Babi who died recently, think I slept through the rest of the programme - it will be on the Listen Again site though.

There really is no end to the list where his performance was beyond outstanding. Him passing away breaks all his fans hearts. Amrish Puri must be the only man in Bollywood to have the most number of blockbuster hits! Qurbani,Vidhata, Ram Lakhan, Mr India, Dilwale Duhaniya Le Jayenge, Gaddar, Virasat, Ghayal, Naseeb, the list is endless. There will never be another like him.
