Rozina Sini's Biography
Rozina joined BBC Asian Network in June 2001. She had only been working at the station for a few months when the September 11th attacks happened. Her reporting of the events quickly established her as a vital part of the news team. A year later she was promoted to Senior Broadcast journalist.
Since then she has been to Pakistan twice to report from the earthquake zone and on the elections. She has also been to India for BBC Asian Network to report on the Bollywood Filmfare awards and has interviewed celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
Rozina has presented special programmes on the 2005 General elections, the July 7th bomb attacks and the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
Rozina was born in Bradford, went to Nottingham to do a degree in Broadcast Journalism and now lives in Leicester.
In her spare time she likes reading celebrity gossip, watching Bollywood films and reality TV shows. She'd love to interview Barack Obama.
