Mic Check aims to deliver talented young Asian talent to our growing audience. There’s a huge pool of undiscovered talent out there with masses of potential. We think they all deserve a platform to share their music and receive feedback, direct from their audience.

To represent this area of UK Hip Hop culture we are selecting Big Playerz from the scene to come on the show on rotation and present us with new talent. These regular contributors and friend of the show will be our MC Ambassadors.

    • RUDEKID, 20 years old from East London, is of Indian/Pakistani origin. He has firmly secured his position in the Grime scene as one of the most exciting producers to look out for this year. He has worked alongside Ghetto, Griminal, Wiley and Ironik to name a few. He also looks set to release his debut CDlater this year.
