"As time went on I wouldn't have photos taken, it makes you look silly in front of friends when you’re trying to avoid holiday pictures. It was constantly on my mind." Rob
Rob had nose surgery three years ago. He is now part of a growing number of second and third generation British Asian men opting to go for surgery because they’re not happy with their looks. Cosmetic surgery amongst men has grown phenomenally in the past few years – the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery( BAAPS) reported that there’s been a three hundred per cent increase over the past five years . In this Asian Network Report Special we find that it’s now Asian men who are leading the increase in procedures like Rhinoplasty ie nose re- shaping because they don’t like their ‘Asian’ nose. We also hear about the lies and deception some are going too to cover up their secret surgery in ‘Under the Knife’
