    Adil Ray
    Mummyji is Killing Me

    26 Nov 07
Adil Ray gives into the temptation of unlimited free kebabs, buttery naans and creamy curries. No it’s not an attempt by a rival presenter to kill him off but rather a week-long experiment in indulgent eating to uncover why Asians are much more likely to suffer from chronic health problems than white Europeans.

To give you an idea of just how bad the problem has become, if you’re an Asian aged between thirty and forty then you are three times more likely to suffer a heart attack than a white European and up to five times more likely to develop diabetes. As Adil discovers these are health problems that can seriously affect your quality of life and in the worst case scenario kill you.

    Presenter: Adil Ray

Hope we can see a video film of this as well! But I must say Asian food esp the curries, tandoors & grills are the best in terms of that exotic taste, aroma and variety. With some many restaurants it so hard to resist on top of what most people already get at home! I have at least 2 takeaways / restaurant visit a week. Working folk have such a hard time trying to cook meals and also fit in their evening chill out after work and most will end up with a chilly takeout instead as it easier / cheaper best of not dishes to wash afterwards ! my moto is Live life to the fullest but remember you are what you eat ! Hey Adil - Gurdas Maan has a great song on healthly eating forgot what its called though

Its nothing wrong with food. Its how u eat it and how much u eat it. if Mummy Ji cooking nice food don't be pig and eat like pig. Indian and other asian foods are best food in the world. its best quality but what u need to remember is u gotta watch out the "Quantity".

its really good that you are making asian people aware of the affects that kebabs and currys have on thier health. i have brothers and thats all they eat they are putting serious weight on without realizing it.
