Biography:
What was your main ambitions in life?
My main ambition is to be able to create a programme which can be presented world-wide.
How did you get into presenting?
I was introduced to presenting via the hospital radio and from there on went to the BBC and dveloped my career to become a producer.
What are your interests and hobbies and what do you do when not presenting?
A part from producing the programme when I am not presenting, I also enjoy playing Badminton and Cricket. I chair and run a Badminton club and represent South Yorkshire in the Yorkshire League.
If you were only allowed one piece of music in your collection what would it be?
My choice of music would be a song by Arati Mukherjee 'EK BAISAKHE DEKHA HOLO DUJONER'
Name one thing you can't do without?
I can't do without my computer.
What was your most embarrassing moment on air?
When I was presenting a debate programme on some subject, the ceiling collapsed due to heavy rain !
What was your most exciting moment on air?
My most exciting moment on air was an interview with Amitabh Bachan.
Favourite interviewee?
My favourite guest/interviewees were Bangladesh film Star Bobita and famous singer Kumar Sanu.
Highlights of your career so far?
I have been able to reach a senior producer level within the BBC and have been able to work with many different Ethnic communities.
