Biography:

Noreen has been in radio for the past 4 years. From a break in hospital radio, she went on to host a weekly music request show for Club Asia.

Her passion for music goes back to childhood where Noreen discovered music by learning to play various instruments. Initially, learning to play the violin she went on to learn the oboe and then mastered the art of playing tenor for a steel band!

More recently, Noreen has played keyboards for British Asian fusion band Sonik Guru’s. She has toured extensively with the band, from the grimy clubs of London to more exotic locations in Mexico culminating with playing at the Cervantino, Central America’s biggest festival.

Noreen’s musical influences are across the board; from Bollywood to Experimental and Urban to Bhangra. Whatever the influence, good quality music is what she loves to champion.
