Asian Nation: My life, my roots, my music

Tell us your story

You can contribute to the Asian Nation website with your thoughts, experiences and stories via video, audio or text.

We want to hear what you think defines you as a British Asian today. What are the issues you face? This is your space to share your views and insights into life as a British Asian.

    Tell us about yourself - give us your name, age, email address and a photograph of yourself.

  2. Step2

    Submit your Story - be it video, audio or text. Any files you send us should not be bigger than 10Mb, as it will exceed our bandwidth limit and will not reach us.

  3. Step 3

    Locate your Story - use the map to place your story on the map.

Your photograph can be of type JPG, GIF or PNG and no larger than 1MB. As we use your photograph in two locations on the website, please make sure your photograph is landscape format, with your face in the centre of the image.

We can accept normal audio formats, including WAV, AIFF, MP3, AAC, Quicktime and Windows Media. Please ensure the volume and clarity of your voice is acceptable for our audience. Your clip should be no bigger than 10MB in size.

We can accept normal video formats, including Quicktime, Windows Media, MPEG and 3GP. Your clip should be no bigger than 10MB in size.

If you are trying to submit an audio or video file that is too big, you may see a network error message. Please make sure that your media files do not exceed the file size limits of 1Mb for pictures, and 10Mb for audio and video files, otherwise we will not receive them.
