Asian Nation: My life, my roots, my music

Your Stories

Thair Ilyas

Realise and reconise

By: Thair Ilyas

You hear alot about the Asian peoples expecially the youth.

We are nothing to what they compare us too.

We all just lost in moment and trapped in the dreams.

Its hard just looking around and seeing all the talent go to waste in drugs n crime.

believe it or not that is our only option. we havnt got any role models or a helping hand to guide us through life. Once we get lost is hard pulling back. There are some fortunate but most are not. Drugs and money have cuppurted us and there isnt much we can do, much we can turn, much that can help us out. so we resort to violence and crime.

Its bad news because those who live amoung us just laugh and turn a blind eye too.

i can relate to everything they say because i am going throgh that phase as a youngster.

There is no resources, clubs, activities or any sort of sceme we can turn to so we roam the streets! Its hard thinking the next generation after us will totally be lost and god forbid in jail or under the grass. We need help and not alot of us wil admit it. the mark we have been given has such a huge affect of us its unbelievable and me personally i want a end to this.

we all make mistakes but to patrenize those mistakes and hold a grudge makes matters much worse then they seem!!

im young and sometimes do get in trouble but that doesnt make me a bad person does it?

We need help within our communites

because the cracks wont heal themself!!
