This portrait of Prince Albert hangs in Inverness Town House, in the entrance hall, to the right of the staircase. The plaque reads: 'The Prince Albert 1819–1861. The Prince Consort to Queen Victoria. 1857'. It is a copy of an original portrait by the Victorian Aberdeen-born painter John 'Spanish' Phillip (1817–1867).
