This half-length portrait of George Ffarington was previously attributed to Hamlet Winstanley but is now thought to be by an unknown artist in the style of Hogarth. It depicts a man, believed to be George Farington of Worden Hall in Northeast Lancashire, wearing a peruke (wig), a soft cravat and a jacket with buttons.
