The courtyard of the Friends Meeting House. There is a pump on the right with colourful flowers in a basin, and hanging baskets behind. This Quaker Meeting House is on South Street opposite the Parish Church. It was given in 1697 by Daniel Taylor along with adjoining buildings. They were intended to be used as almshouses for the poor and provide space for the education of poor children in the town.
