The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards inherited the history and the fame of three grand old regiments. This has bestowed upon the Regiment an immensely full and colourful past – more than 300 years of service, campaigns and combat, on foot, on horse and in armour, in most countries. The Regiment is proud of this inheritance and sees itself not only as a very professional military unit but also as a close community. The Regiment matches its proud history and traditions with beautiful possessions, pictures, silver and relics bestowed, captured or earned by its service through the years. The museum shows the highlights of this remarkable history.
