Graham Norton hosts Big Chat with celebrity guests
Graham Norton will host a marathon chat show on March 7 with a parade of celebrity guests in aid of Comic Relief.
The television personality will attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the most questions asked on a tv chat show when he takes over BBC Three for one evening and into the wee hours of the next morning.
Norton says: 'David Walliams swam the Thames, John Bishop endured a week of hell and Eddie Izzard ran marathon after marathon after marathon. I am hoping to join this elite group of celebrity fundraisers by doing what I do best - sitting on my backside and talking.'
Confirmed celebrity guests for the Big Chat include Ronnie Corbett, Martin Freeman, Jimmy Carr, Elle Macpherson, James Nesbitt, Paddy McGuinness, Heston Blumenthal and Aston from JLS.
There will also be musical performances from Example, Paloma Faith, Hurts and Laura Mvula.
To cope with the influx of stars, Norton will get extra help from chat show veteran Terry Wogan and Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw.
Off stage, Greg James will host the Big Chat Backstage Party, making sure that the evening's guests are well looked after before they come into the studio.
Viewers can get involved by asking questions via Twitter or through the BBC Three Facebook page.
All donations received by viewers will be given to Comic Relief.
