Reg Harris talks about his disappointment at only managing two silver medals at the Olympics, playing down the fact that he achieved these while cycling with a fractured elbow and recovering from a back injury sustained in a car accident.
Cycling remained paramount throughout the life of Reg Harris. He suffered a stroke while cycling shortly after having an operation on a snapped ankle tendon and died two days later. He was 72.
