Synopsis

In this excerpt from a programme on Brian Epstein and his management company NEMS Enterprises, a rather disapproving presenter interviews Epstein and some of the acts he manages. The artists interviewed include Gerry Marsden and Cilla Black (pictured above), who comment on Epstein's judgement and professionalism.

Did you know?

Brian Epstein started out in the pop industry by selling records from his family's shop, North End Music Stores (NEMS) in Great Charlotte Street, Liverpool. After having great success with that outlet, Epstein opened another one at 12-14 Whitechapel.
