Synopsis
In this unedited interview, Glenn Ford remembers his time under contract to Columbia Studios and his friendship with Harry Cohn. Cohn had a fearsome reputation in Hollywood and although Ford pays tribute to his judgement and skill and acknowledges his 'off-duty' charm, he also describes some of the incidents that led many to fear Cohn's ferocious temper. Among the many revealing anecdotes told by Ford is a recollection of conspiring with Cohn to persuade Jack Lemmon to co-star with him in the film 'Cowboy' (1958), a project Lemmon had wanted to turn down.
This unedited interview is presented as it was originally recorded. Therefore, there are changes in the sound levels and there may be some interruptions and interference from background noise. Parts of this interview were used in the 1979 documentary series 'Movie Moguls'.
