Walter Turner Monckton, later Lord Monckton of Brenchley, acted as legal adviser to King Edward VIII during the abdication crisis. In this interview, his second wife, Lady Bridget Monckton, talks to Alan Haydock about her husband's friendship with the King and her own recollections of Edward, Duke of Windsor, when he was, effectively, in exile.
