Acting on behalf of his client, theatrical agent Michael Grade confirms that Clive Dunn will be listed third in the credits, after Arthur Lowe and John Le Mesurier.
Clive Dunn had already made a name for himself by playing characters considerably older than his real age. Despite his appearance in 'Dad's Army', he was only 58 when he began playing Jonesy. His agent at the time was Michael Grade, who went on to become a major figure in British broadcasting.
