As 'Doctor Who' begins its third year of adventures, Aubrey Holmes writes to 'Radio Times' to let the BBC know how much he's enjoyed the series.

Did you know?

Aubrey's view that 'no other actor can play the part of the old Doctor' would soon be challenged, as plans were already underway behind the scenes to replace Hartnell, due to ill health. By midway through the following year, Hartnell would step down from the role to make way for a younger actor. Despite his appearance, Hartnell was just 58 at the time.
