The Cataloguing Department
I run a team of 40 cataloguers. Their job is to catalogue the subject content of BBC television and radio programmes. We need a catalogue because the BBC puts out masses of new content every day and it's really important that this material can be retrieved again and used in new programmes, or used for research. We're actually cataloguing up to 400 new programmes every week.
