Hello! Welcome to BBC Xtra English. Today Finn and Mouna talked about the communist-ruled island, Cuba.
The President of Cuba, Raul Castro, has made some economic reforms aimed at reviving the country's economy.
Cubans can now legally buy and sell property, a change which is designed to ease the severe housing shortage. Previously if people wanted to move house, they had to use a barter system which often meant making bribes. The government agency that regulated house swaps has been abolished because it was considered very corrupt.
Other new laws include one legalising the sale and purchase of cars for all Cubans; and another which means Cubans can now become self-employed and set-up their own businesses.
Could these changes be the beginning of the end of post-revolution Cuba? Has Cuba had to give into economic pressure? We would like to know what you think. هل يمكن لهذه التغييرات أن تكون بداية نهاية فترة ما بعد الثورة في كوبا؟ هل اضطرت كوبا للرضوخ للضغوط الاقتصادية؟ ما رأيكم؟ Write to us at bbcxtraenglish@bbc.co.uk or leave a message on the BBC Xtra Facebook page, just remember to write to us in English.
