Q: What do I need to listen?
To listen to BBC World Service Arabic Audio, you need to dowload a RealAudio player (available free at the time of writing). The Real Networks web site also provides ample information on possible problems with listening.
Q: Do I need a fast modem?
The Arabic Live Audio Stream is provided in both low and high speeds (14.4 and 28.8 Kbps). Please note that regardless of your modem speed it is sometimes possible to receive better quality sound over the 14.4 link.
You can listen to the BBC World Service in English live on the net via broadcast.com
