"This
afternoon Lubna and I arrived at our host family. They are very
friendly people. I had a chance to use English for the first
time. I was a little nervous but it was fine.We had biscuits
and English tea, which is different from the tea we have at
home. Another thing I have noticed is that English people say
'please' and 'thank you' a lot. I have to remember this because
I don't want to seem to be rude. It's been a long day, and I'm
very tired. Lubna is asleep in front of the television. I wonder
if she's dreaming in English?"
