'The biggest learning curve of my life,' says Debra in this exclusive exit interview. Watch Debra talking about how she feels Sir Alan understood her and why she's a real softie at heart.

Sir Alan has let his best prospect go Debra Barr. I am sure he may regret this and is having second thoughts. He was not sure even at the end of the programme.
Debra will be back maybe through the back door to Sir Allan.

Totally and utterly agree with this- she has the most potential (not age driven) and has had the least to hide than all the rest. Debra will be sadly missed but great to hear Sir Alan tell her to "keep in touch" on leaving. It was also good to see another side of her when she left- hard as she may appear, she has shown some softer emotions and some good grace to us- she has true depth of character and constructive humility, unlike the finalists in my view!
On a slightly askew note....why somebody who runs her own business but doesn't know what turnover, gross and net profit are?....nor how to calculate percentages?....mmmmm, shoudl perhaps be a concern to Sir Alan.
Kate is lucky she hasn't got Debra to compete against......

I think this decision shows employer's attitude towards risk during employing someone. Many people described Debra as aggressive & loud as Allan Sugar, & they thought its her plus point. On contrary in my view this goes in her negative side solely. She could be a successful in her own business as Allan but two persons having same kinda temperament & reaction to opposition seems quite hard to work in one environment. She was young, she would have change & learn to work under Allan, this was a risk, which I think he was'nt ready to take.
