Career Senior Satellite Television Engineer
Qualifications 8 GCSEs

"I'm too soft at times - I fall for the little old lady factor."

Simon spent nine years as an NCO in the Royal Artillery Regiment where he qualified as a surveyor before his exemplary discharge. As a civvy, he went on to work as both a customer accounts manager at a bank and a technical recruitment consultant before taking up his current role as a satellite engineer four years ago. Living with his girlfriend and new baby, Simon hopes to win The Apprentice by winning every task because of his ability to think on his feet. He says he doesn't suffer fools gladly and hates management speak. Away from work, Simon enjoys singing, creative writing and football - he claims to have had Harry Redknapp sacked from West Ham!
