JOHN F KENNEDY
Statesman and 35th U.S. president (1961-63).
Born on May 29, 1917, in Brookline, Massachusetts; the second of Joseph and Rose Kennedy's nine children.
On November 22, 1963, Kennedy was assassinated by rifle fire while being driven in an open car through Dallas, Texas.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born in Brookline, Massachusetts in the United States of America on 20th May 1917. Both his grandfathers were prominent politicians and his father was a very wealthy financier. John Kennedy was educated at private schools and Harvard. Then he joined the Navy.
When the boat he was commanding was sunk, Kennedy swam for many hours, at times towing other members of his crew, until they reached safety. He was awarded a medal for his bravery.
It was a close election, against Richard Nixon, but Kennedy won. He was the youngest ever president of the United States.
