WWI and II Pictures and Postcard Album

This album was created by my grandmother and includes postcards received from friends and soldiers during both the first and second world wars. One of them is post-marked 11th November 1918. It makes me think about how hard life must have been for my grandmother as a young woman in the early 1900s and also about all the friends she must have lost to the wars that she lived through. Many of the postcards are birthday greetings and Christmas cards so it also makes me think of the happy times she had.
