Long Service Medal St John Ambulance

My Grandad was given this medal for his long service in St John Ambulance brigade. Nearly a lifes time work in the brigade. He used to go on duty at Whit week walks in Manchester with St Edmunds, Corpus Christi and other school. He helped save the life of a child who fell through a roof and also did a lot of work in the war as a detachment leader in the ARP.
