RAF Defford Crest

RAF Defford was the base for the telecommunication flying unit, from March 1942. It was established to test fly various radar equipment invented by the TRE at Malvern. Home to over 100 aircraft and 2000 - 2500 personnel. A unique and totally secret location in rural Worcestershire.
