A 1934 French conscript souvenir book

This is my father's diary book from his military service in France in 1934.In French of course. We also have a book from his prisoner's of war camp in Rawa-Ruska , my sister has it so it can be added to that one.I suppose it would be even more interesting to the world. The photo I have chosen is one of the first pages but it is full of songs and personal impressions from his time and the photo does not reflect the energy and love of life coming out of the whole book. There are plenty of illustrations within it, drawings but also cuttings and postcards. Most of all there are songs lyrics and illustrations, no music partitions.
The world described in it no longer exist and that is why I thought it was part of the History of the world.
